AIGA Foundation and Hawaiian Air donate to Leone HS JV program and American Youth Football

(PRESS RELEASE) — Aiga Foundation and Hawaiian Airlines have teamed up to provide the Leone High School Junior Varsity football team and the American Youth Football of Samoa with much appreciated football equipment.

Aiga Foundation President George Malau’ulu coordinated with Hawaiian Airlines Pago Station Manager Ryan Anoa’i a shipment of over 30 helmets and shoulder pads.

Samoan athlete enters the NBA arena

James Johnson, Wake Forest sophomore forward, the son of Vi (Leone) and Willie Johnson (multiple-time kickboxing champion) left the university and announced his decision to enter the NBA. Johnson was surrounded by several dozen delighted family members and friends as NBA commissioner David Stern announced the Chicago Bulls selected him with the 16th pick of the 2009 draft.

Not only do we strive to be successful on the playing field, but in our communities as well. We believe that our children of today are our leaders of tomorrow, and with positive play on the field and in the communities, WE WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. As we team up with such great organizations as the Boys & Girls Club Upward Bound Program, The Salvation Army and many other Non-Profit Organizations, the sky is the limit.

Our organization is comprised of players from all around the State of Texas, as well as a few who make the journey from Oklahoma to be apart of our family. All of our players are between the ages of 18-51 and have prior playing experience whether it's in high school, college, IFL, CFL, AFL or the NFL.
